Competitive Math
Murphy Learning Center's Competitive Math Program uses the internationally recognized MTGK curriculum to prepare students for advanced mathematics beyond the classroom. Students develop critical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills while preparing for Plano ISD Math Rocks, MATHCOUNTS, AMC 8/10, MOEMS (Olympiad), and other local and national math competitions.
Mission
Our mission is to inspire students to think creatively and solve challenging mathematical problems with confidence. Through the MTGK curriculum, we equip students with the skills needed to excel in competitive math programs.
Curriculum
Our curriculum focuses on understanding the "why" behind every solution. Students practice breaking down difficult problems, recognizing patterns, and applying creative strategies to solve advanced math questions with confidence.
