Chess Instructor 

I have been a dedicated chess instructor since 1979 and am a certified Tournament Director with the United States Chess Federation. I am the author of How to Find the Perfect Mate on Chessable and have been published in Chess Life magazine, including my article “How to Draw a Grandmaster” (May 2016).

I have coached chess for organizations such as the Home Educators Association of Dallas, A+ Academy, and Inspired Vision Academies in Southeast Dallas. In addition to my chess career, I bring extensive experience in mathematics, data analysis, and professional development, including 15 years as a District Math Coordinator and Assistant Director of Professional Learning at A+ Charter Schools, Inc., as well as serving as a Principal and Vice Principal at Inspired Vision II.
