I have extensive experience helping students succeed in challenging Math and Science classes. I earned my B.S. in Genetics and Life Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, and my M.S. in Biology from the University of Oregon.
My teaching journey includes college-level Biology at Lone Star College and high school Chemistry, Physics, and Forensic Science in Texas public schools. I specialize in standardized tests such as the PSAT, SAT, and ACT, focusing on organizing essays and breaking down Math and Science problems into clear, manageable steps.
In addition to my academic expertise, I bring a passion for fostering a positive learning environment. I believe that every student has the potential to excel, and I tailor my teaching strategies to meet individual needs. Through my public speaking experience with Toastmasters International, I emphasize strong communication skills to help students grow into confident, capable future leaders. My goal is to inspire curiosity and a love for learning empowering students to achieve their academic goals and prepare for future challenges.
